Meet our consultants

John Saywell

John started work in his father's New Plymouth pharmacy as a youngster and has managed and owned pharmacies in malls, community shopping centres and medical centres. 

His passion for retail systems led him to form RPM Retail, a Christchurch software and consulting company in 2002. His company works with hundreds of retailers in several sectors throughout Australia and New Zealand to provide retail reporting, analysis, merchandising and inventory management tools.


Phil Berry

Phil is an entrepreneurial pharmacy consultant and is a co-owner of two busy Levin health centre pharmacies. 

Phil is a second generation community pharmacist and his expertise in strategy, leadership and design has led him into successful consulting roles with large retailers and pharmacies thoughout New Zealand.

His home office in the seaside Christchurch suburb of Sumner allows him to indulge in recreational surfing.

Tina Hillier

Tina is a trained pharmacy technician and is an experienced pharmacy retail manager. As the programme co-ordinator of the Engage Pharmacy Group she has developed the training and marketing packages for pharmacies NZ-wide.

Her wide knowledge of retail pharmacy has seen her testing new products and writing articles for Pharmacy Today, as well as implementing mystery shopper programmes and our instore events package: My Event Box.


What do I get?

Every three months we send you an "Event in a box". This contains seasonally themed posters, a fresh set of point-of-sale promo tickets to use on shelves, planograms and sampling advice for featured products from our supplier partners.
